A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare is coming to Pella in July, 2025!

Our play takes place at an outdoor music festival, where a number of spectators and musicians get thrown together in unexpected ways. There are the event organizers, who try to boss everyone around, some young folks who are in love with each other, a group of amateur musicians/actors trying to make it big, and some sort-of-magical rock stars who make a number of mistakes which lead to the following: during the night everyone gets lost in the woods, and a whole bunch of people end up falling in love with (mostly) the wrong person or persons, amongst other hijinks – most notably when a young man gets (mostly) turned into a donkey. But not to worry, by the end of the night it all ends well for (mostly) everyone!
